I spent some time before the rain this morning in the NE corner of the Hawthorns. New for me was a conspicuous PHILADELPHIA VIREO singing loudly for over ten minutes. There were numerous TENNESSEE WARBLERS, at least 3 BLACKPOLL WARBLERS, 2 NASHVILLES, 1 MAGNOLIA 1 REDSTART and several Yellows & Common Yellowthroats. Two Ruby-throated Hummingbirds were feeding among the apple blossoms.
