I ate lunch on the deck at the River Rose Cafe in Owego. While eating I watched the CLIFF SWALLOWS flying about beneath the rte 96 bridge over the Susquehanna River. I estimate there are 30 jug nests on the bridge, many of them directly below the sidewalk that crosses it. One can stand at the railing and enjoy a close-up top-side view as the birds enter and leave.
