Stewart Park was quite productive today at lunch time (12:45-1:15).
Highlights were a beautiful pale 1st-cycle ICELAND GULL on the ice
edge with lots of Herring and Great Black-backed, an adult BONAPARTE'S
GULL mobbing an adult PEREGRINE FALCON that was harassing ducks near
the west shore, a juvenile RED-THROATED LOON not too far off shore
towards the east end (seen from East Shore), and several flyover
AMERICAN PIPITS.

I also heard a flyover PINE SISKIN at Beebe Lake a few minutes before
that. I drove by the compost but didn't see any gulls on the piles,
although a lot of the ones at Stewart a little later looked like they
were headed up that way.

Cheers,
-Jay
