Just a quick note to anyone interested. Cayuga Bird Club field trip this 
morning saw one Shorteared Owl just north of the intersection of Wycoff and 
Rock River on the west side of the road.  Gray house with line of smallish 
spruces along south edge- owl was roosting in spruce with tallish post near it. 
No sign of snowy owl in the area, but we did have a small mixed flock of horned 
lark and lapland longspur flying back and forth along Wycoff.
