Hi,

This is out of basin. I’ve been watching the adult Bald Eagle pair in Corning
and noticed over the last week I was no longer seeing the pair together. They
frequently fish the Pressware Pool that is where the Chemung River comes along
Rt 17 at the glass plant. I’ve only seen a single bird there lately. So, this
morning I parked where I could see the nest and clearly the head of an adult
in the nest. Of course, that does not confirm that they have eggs, but I’ll
watch over the next weeks to see if I can spot the other adult bring food to
the one on the nest.

I have no history about when they have nested in the past, but this seems a
little early.

Comments? Anyone seen similar at the Mud Lock nest?
