I stopped briefly at Stewart Park around 3 PM and there were at least 4
BLACKPOLL WARBLERS around the swan pen -- singing away in the cold rain. A pair
of LESSER SCAUP and some BANK SWALLOWS offshore were the only other birds of
note.

An even briefer stop at Myer's Point produced a breeding-plumage DUNLIN on the
gravel spit -- conditions seem good for shorebirds there now, and in the past
there has been much turnover -- i.e. checking any time of day could produce new
birds.
