Hi all,
Early morning gardening (5.45 to 7 am) in my yard, I had some interesting birds
to hear and see. I heard Black-billed cuckoo call once cu cu cu. I also heard a
Yellow-throated vireo calling from across. This is a new bird for my yard list.
I also Heard Red-eyed Vireo and two days ago there was a warbling vireo singing
in my yard.

Cardinals have babies in yews but very well hidden. Parents take circuitous
route to reach babies. Song Sparrows are also having babies in rose bush. I
have not yet found where the catbirds are nesting in the yard. But the pair is
very anxious when I am around.

AM Robin had a nest near my garage door, but I think the eggs got predated. A
House Wren has been bringing females to a nest box on my walnut, but somehow it
looks like the females are not impressed by the box. I did see one female go
inside and check it out. But he keeps advertising the location to females.

Lots going on outside, but only no time to look at them:(

Cheers
 Meena
