I was just about to let my dog out into the backyard a few minutes
ago but looked out first.
Good thing I did because there were 5 or 6 White throated sparrows
busily eating the millet seeds I had tossed out for the Juncos and Doves.
This must have been "last call" since it's late twilight now. I
wonder if they are moving through and just now found this.
Dog outing can wait. These birds looked hungry.
Nature is wonderful, always something unexpected and lively.
