This evening about 6pm I saw one short-eared owl on co rd 139, just west of rt 96, also known as Happy Landing. I had just turned onto co rd 139 heading west and saw a large bird fly over the road ahead of me. I pulled over and had good views over the fields on the south side of the road for the few moments I had available, but could not stay long.
