Monday morning at about 7:30 I went out on my second story deck and saw an
Osprey flying over my beach/back yard area. It landed in my large, dead White
Oak tree on the edge of the cliff for a few minutes then flew north and circled
back south.
I thought perhaps it might be one of the Portland Point Ospreys.

Subject: [cayugabirds-l] Portland Point Osprey Incubating

Liisa's observation reminded me to post that the Osprey at the Portland Point
platform appear to have eggs. I stopped by yesterday (going only as far as I
needed to in order to see the nest, as per K. McGowan's warning), and saw one
adult sitting down in the nest cup. Didn't take long for them to accept their
new platform nest!
