I did see a Great Egret at Benning about 8:30.   It flew north as soon as it 
saw my car.  I went as far as Towpath and did not relocate it.  The only 
noteable thing on Towpath was a Yellowrump warbler.  There were hundreds of 
Painted Lady butterflies all over Towpath.
