Went on a 5 mile hike around the Seneca Meadows Wetland Complex (Seneca Falls)
today. Lots of Song & Savannah sparrows all over, a few Bobolinks around the
"prairie" sections. Had an American Bittern near the parking lot, and a Brown
Thrasher, Pileated, and Least Bittern all on the east end of the Blue Heron
Loop. Not many mosquitoes around the flies (deer, horse, etc.) kept me out of
the wooded sections.
