At 10:30 this evening, I heard a single AMERICAN CROW flying over my house, calling -- very strange to hear one at night! I suppose it was a bird disturbed off its roost, but it was flying north to south against a fairly illuminated overcast sky. Is there any evidence of true nocturnal movements in crows?
