The Montezuma Audubon Center is proud to welcome David Bonter, Project
FeederWatch Program Leader, on Saturday December 1 at 1 PM for a presentation
about his current research on backyard birds. Americans spend billions of
dollars on bird feeding supplies but little research has been conducted to
understand how birds use the food we provide, and how that food influences the
survival and behavior of birds. Mr. Bonter and his colleagues have been using
technology to study the feeding behavior, survival, and daily and annual
activity patterns of our favorite feeder birds. An optional hike to search for
irrupting finches will follow the lecture. Fee: $3/child, $5/adult, $15/family,
FREE for Friends of the Montezuma Wetlands Complex. Space is limited.
Registration required. Please call 315-365-3588 or email
[email protected].  2295 State Route 89 Savannah, NY 13146
