It's not supposed to be so easy. We arrived around 1130 and folks on the scene
hadn't seen the bird in awhile. Sue and I took a short walk down a lane heading
west
and found the bird perched within about two minutes! As the day progressed the
sightings became less frequent with the bird making a loop to the east across
the
Lower Lake Rd and then across the E to W intersecting road towards the housing
to
the north and back. As Chris wrote yesterday -patience and it helps to move
around
while looking. We also had a nice adult female Cooper's Hawk and a raft of
smaller
birds including several Red-breasted Nuthatches.
John

PS. Dave and Anne -sorry we didn't recognize you, it's been too many years. Was
good
to catch up with Diana and folks from Rochester and Buffalo.
