Hi all,

Yesterday Nick Sly, Shawn Billerman, Tim Lenz and I went up to the North
end of the lake to look for Redpolls and other assorted birds.

The Redpoll flock found two weeks ago at Mud Lock seems to be sticking
around there. We first saw about 30 COMMON REDPOLLS flying around the
spotand they were quickly joined by several more groups to form a big
flock that flew from tree to tree and constantly broke apart and reformed.

We did see a HOARY REDPOLL several times in this group. We were able to
locate the bird several times as the group flew in and landed. Tim managed
to get some photos for our eBird checklist:
