Union Springs ... Now I can stop being envious!!! 4 REDPOLLS were watching me as I was about 8' away from the niger feeder, shoveling snow at 4 p.m.. I've had many gold & house finches but couldn't make any of them into repolls, at least down here at the feeders by the house. Can't say that anymore. :~)
Saw NO snow geese today & only a few Canadas. Several mallard pairs were on the Factory St. pond & also what, without my binox, appeared to be a black duck, definitely NOT a gadwall.
