On my early morning Brooktondale walk today (Jan. 2), I spied an adult GOLDEN EAGLE. I was on Central Chapel Rd.; the eagle came up out of the woods behind Anne Marie's house flapping and spiraling, slowly gaining altitude as it searched for a thermal. It got to about 200' and continued its search as it slowly drifted south. Probably went right over Melissa's place.
