Just got a call from Andrew Van Norstrand and he described a bird that sounds spot on for female Tufted Duck in Oswego. He was viewing the bird from the bluff above Wright's Landing on the west side of the river. Bill Purcell [email protected] Also, Wayne Fidler posted some photos of a bird that looks good for a Redhead x Ring-necked hybrid from the same area, so anyone looking for the Tufted should keep and eye out for that bird and try to get more photos. -Jay -- Jay McGowan Macaulay Library Cornell Lab of Ornithology [email protected] -- Cayugabirds-L List Info: http://www.NortheastBirding.com/CayugabirdsWELCOME http://www.NortheastBirding.com/CayugabirdsRULES http://www.NortheastBirding.com/CayugabirdsSubscribeConfigurationLeave.htm ARCHIVES: 1) http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/maillist.html 2) http://www.surfbirds.com/birdingmail/Group/Cayugabirds 3) http://birdingonthe.net/mailinglists/CAYU.html Please submit your observations to eBird: http://ebird.org/content/ebird/ --
