Unlike Osprey that tend to dismiss nest proximity as populations grow, Bald 
Eagles
in the east prefer a wide separation from other BAEA nests. It will be 
interesting
to watch what happens here as the population of BAEA grows and how much 
interspecies
tolerance with OSPR, as Diana mentioned, will be tolerated. Our hope of course 
is
that some of the mature birds will start house hunting at the south end of our
lakes. Queen Catharine Marsh would be ideal for them and for observation.
