I was shocked to see sun today so in celebration went up to Mt. Pleasant for a little afternoon hawk watching. It was even a little warm out there. Adding to the warm feelings were three Red-tails, a dark phase Rough-legged Hawk and one Golden Eagle. I almost missed the GE as he popped up by the radio tower hill made a lazy circle then continued over the ridge to Cortland.
