While we've had a single White-throated Sparrow around for at least 2
weeks, today all of a sudden we have at least 6. I kept looking for
White-crowned but no luck so far.

Other yard birds include 8+ Purple Finches, an Eastern Towhee singing
throughout the day it seems, a Red-breasted Nuthatch that appeared 2 days
ago, finally Tree Swallows up at our nest boxes and the usual coterie of
resident birds all giving us a nice morning chorus.
