May be Marbled Godwit found a friend and together they headed to Cupsogue in
Suffolk LI.

Walk along the dike of Knox -Marsellus was a great trip. Some 25+ people
showed up. Thanks to MNWR authorities and to Dave Nutter, Kevin and Jay
McGowans and Steve Benedict for taking initiative and leading the trip!

Birds were still far away! But enjoyed good looks at the Red-necked Phalarope
and tons Night Herons and Am. Bitterns.

I and the group of birders with Dave Nutter have a juvenile RED-NECKED
PHALAROPE with the other usual species at Knox-Marsellus Marsh. No sign of the
Marbled Godwit, however.
