Hi all,
There was a nice variety of birds along the Wilson Trail north this morning
between 7:50 and 8:50. A low foraging BAY-BREASTED Warbler greeted me along
the path to the Fuller Wetlands. At one point it flew down to the ground at my
feet! A bit further along was a MAGNOLIA WARBLER. All of the other warblers in
the list below were in a flock at the corner of the Wilson Trail where it
leaves the edge of the pond and turns north. Also in that corner was a loudly
singing CAROLINA WREN, a BALTIMORE ORIOLE, a BLUE-HEADED VIREO and a couple of
NUTHATCHES. Catbirds are everywhere as are Goldfinches.
Nice morning!
Laura
