I listened to and recorded a portion of last night's migration over Snyder Hill. From 8:30 to 9:30 and again from 5:00 - 6:20 this morning. The vast majority of the calls were thrushes, Swainson's predominating and a couple of Gray-cheeked thrown in. There were assorted warbler/sparrow calls which I have not had time to sort out yet. The loudest and most easily recognized bird was a passing Killdeer, if I don't count the lone Canada Goose yesterday evening. Our local towhee family started the morning off, followed by the Song Sparrows.
