I had a late appointment in Aurora this afternoon so I made a quick
stop at the boathouse parking lot. One scan across the water not blocked by
tree branches yielded 58 C. Loons. I thought I saw a Red-throated Loon in the
distance, but wasn't sure because of the poor view.
It may portend a fine day of lake scanning on Saturday.
