While shoveling, I was alerted by a commotion behind the house. 2 RAVENS
had found the recently put out grease bread and were gobbling it down, much
to the consternation of our yard crows. Also saw a gorgeous light-phase
ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK spinning south, on favorable winds.

I was thinking this would be a great day to pick up a count week golden
eagle on Mt. Pleasant. I won't make it, too much snow to move, but Bob?,
Ann?, Marie?, Dave? Cornell people?
