3 snowy owls today: 1 on Indian Field Road at the intersection with Poplar Ridge-many thanks to Anne Marie and Tim Johnson for the scope, along with Meena. I don't think I would have found the owl tucked into the grasses without their help.
After the Indian Field snowy I had all good intentions of going home but the car has a mind of it's own and I headed to the Potato building. One snowy on a pole to the west side of the building at 4:15. That one stayed put and as I left going east I saw another snowy to the east of the building at 4:50. Well worth the extra drive. Large flock of approximately 200 snow buntings behind the potato building and 8 horned larks to the south.
