I made a quick stop on Stevenson Road in Ithaca to check the compost piles for 
Black Vulture. I had no luck with the vulture, although there were several 
Turkey Vultures around, but I flushed a Peregrine Falcon off of one of the 
silos. After a couple of darts to and fro, it flew toward Turkey Hill Road 
fairly low, as though it landed nearby, but I couldn't relocate it.
