HI everyone,

For the past couple of mornings, I'v e heard and seen crows harassing a noisily
protesting Common Raven while they all flew over my house.

And during my afternoon walks three days in a row, I've flushed a WIlson's
Snipe from an area of standing water in a field just 100 yards or so up Mt
Pleasant Road from its junction with Mineah. This evening I remembered to look
carefully as I approached to see if I could spot it. Indeed, there was the
brownish humped form with a long bill squatting at the water's edge. But as I
cautiously approached closer, I could no longer see it…had I imagined the bird,
wanting so hard to get a good look at it? But then with whirring wings and a
soft clucking call it took flight. Cool!
