We had a wonderful day yesterday driving along east shore of Cayuga lake. Highlights were a beautiful look at Purple Finch and Red bellied Woodpecker in same binoculars view on Drake Road. A Northern Goshawk on Center Road, which scared a flock of Horned larks. A lovely look at Bonaparte's Gull feeding like phalarope along with 4 breeding plumaged Horned Grebes. And many other sightings. Today we are expecting hot weather. We will see what is store for us. Cheers Meena Sent from my Verizon Wireless Phone
