Two adult Killdeer are trying desperately to convince their second floor rooftop chicks to make the leap. I can hear the chicks' peeping calls coming from the roof.
NE entrance to Langmuir Lab, 95 Brown Rd, Ithaca (near the Airport). The rooftop is a gravel roof; ideal for Killdeer nest. Good birding!
