For a few reasons, including the weather, we have more unplowed and unmowed and
ungrazed fields this year around the house giving us quite a few chattering
BOBOLINKS. They won't stay still long enough to count but I am certain there
are more than our usual one or two that just pass through. They move so quickly
that I find it is best to focus the binoculars on one spot and wait for them to
fly through my field of vision. Fun!
