Hi all,
This evening (Friday) between 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm we had lots of visitors to
our bird feeders. We have 3 sunflower seed feeders and one suet feeder, all in
the yard. A remarkable 18 species of birds visited during that hour! It was
overcast and drizzly and about 51 degrees. I've submitted the following list to
eBIRD. While there were mostly singles of each species, we did see 3 male
Rose-breasted Grosbeaks chasing each other around the feeders while one female
quietly munched on seed. We also see the Oriole frequently eating suet, as he
did this evening.

Other birds around the yard include Eastern Phoebes (sitting on a nest above
our porch light), Grey Catbirds, Hummingbirds and a Towhee.

I hope it warms up soon!
Enjoy the weekend.
