Hi all, For those of you who don't know, the RED-HEADED WOODPECKER that has been on campus since at least August 25th continues through today, September 1st. This bird, along with an OLIVE-SIDED FLYCATCHER and a YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHER, has been frequenting a marshy patch with lots of snags on the north side of Pleasant Grove Brook in Palmer/Jessup woods (roughly 42.462491, -76.479839). Lots of other migrants have been around, too. Parking is available on Triphammer road near Iroquois Road and also in A-Lot (only no parking M-F 7am-5pm).
