A few of us were at Myers Pt. around 1 PM and saw no Purple Sandpiper, either. Donna Scott ----- Original Message ----- From: William Roberts To: cayugabirds-l@cornell.edu Sent: Tuesday, October 28, 2014 9:15 PM Subject: [cayugabirds-l] Meyers Pt.
I waited in vain from 4:00 - 6:30 pm this afternoon for the Purple Sandpiper's return. Even though the lighting was ideal for photography the only occupants on the point were a handful (30-35) of R-bGs and a pair of Mallards.
