_At 2 p.m. today._ 12 Jan. 2015. _ Mill pond_: mallards, redheads, buffles & 1 gw teal. _Factory St. pond_; gadwalls, buffles. _Factory St. pond outlet_: mallards & 2 great blue herons. _Frontenac Park views towards the island:_ thousands of ducks ... redheads & ??? Had no scope & foggy mist was too thick to see anything much with binox other than ducks, geese & gulls but the water along the ice edge was black. _Frontenac Island:_ 2 adult bald eagles in the trees. _Overhead in the village_: 1harrier & hundreds of Canadas.
I drove by the gambling place today. The cigarette/tobacco sign had been removed & I saw no activity around the trailer where tobacco was being sold last Fri.. No vehicles were tying up traffic so I assume some authority put an end to the sales there. Hopefully that is the end of the bad traffic situation there.
