On this white, frosty morning our feeders are buzzing with a group of about 20
Redpolls and 6 or 7 Pine Siskins. They are constantly landing for a few
moments, then flying up to the trees, then landing again. It's hard to get an
accurate count! They fight among themselves for the feeder perches. The
Goldfinches, only a few in the current flock, barely hold their own!
