Yesterday, Feb. 11th. there were 50 Tundra Swans between Sheldrake Point and Kidders, in the afternoon.
One of the residents along there has had 1 -3 Mute Swans several times. I don't understand why The Whistling Swan was renamed Tundra. I can stand on my porch and hear Whistling. For two days now I have watched a yellow bellied Sapsucker at my suet cakes. He seems to be boring holes Up and down like they do for sap. I get no work done (:J) Naomi Brewer Sheldrake/Wyers Point -- Cayugabirds-L List Info: http://www.NortheastBirding.com/CayugabirdsWELCOME http://www.NortheastBirding.com/CayugabirdsRULES http://www.NortheastBirding.com/CayugabirdsSubscribeConfigurationLeave.htm ARCHIVES: 1) http://www.mail-archive.com/cayugabirds-l@cornell.edu/maillist.html 2) http://www.surfbirds.com/birdingmail/Group/Cayugabirds 3) http://birdingonthe.net/mailinglists/CAYU.html Please submit your observations to eBird: http://ebird.org/content/ebird/ --
