I'm leading the club bird trip Sunday, and thought we would try for the Tufted Duck at the Ithaca Yacht Club then. Hence I called around starting with the homepage to get the number. It turns out that the Commodore gave permission for the club trip to go down to the water front. The Commodore, Marie Neumer, was in a rush as she was in line to get on a plane at the Ithaca Airport and indicated she could only be very brief. I didn't think to ask about permission for many visitors since I only thought about asking in the briefest possible conversation.. Sorry. She didn't seem concerned, but did not consider the possibility of many other visitors.
