A single female redpoll has been hanging around our feeders
(Trumansburg, right in the village). She's comfortable on the
ground/snow. Doesn't flee until I get very close, and then doesn't fly
very far. I can't tell if she's sassy and unafraid, or if she's ill.
Been around for a week or two. Eyes look fine.
