In addition to the two continuing Wilson's Snipe, the compost piles on Stevenson Road were very good for gulls this morning. Two ADULT GLAUCOUS GULLS, one 1ST CYCLE and one ADULT ICELAND GULL, and two ADULT LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULLS were among the birds sitting in the fields around the piles, all visible from Stevenson. A probable 1st cycle THAYER'S GULL was photographed by Tim Lenz at the same spot yesterday, but I was unable to refind it this morning. The two Lesser Black-backed were also different birds than the two I saw there yesterday.
