Right now Pat and I are enjoying a couple of Sandhill Cranes out in the corn stalks just south of Carncross Road. A nice light phase Rough-legged Hawk was perched in the lone tree midway between Carncross and Morgan. Earlier we got the usual thrill-show from tens of thousands of nervous Snow Geese out in the mucklands south of rte 31. Also saw several Tree Swallows hunting just inches above the ice there. One Pine Siskin visited our feeders this morning.
