While standing at our bay window looking at the birds, I noticed movement out of the corner of my eye. As I slowly turned my head to look, I was wonderfully surprised to see a resplendent PINE SISKIN feeding at our window feeder. Our FOY --- for a couple of years! We also had our FOY PURPLE FINCH on Easter sunday (both male and female). Should also mention that we've been having a JUNCO subspecies intergrade with a light brown back and crown. Its bill is also a lighter pink than the normal slate-colored birds.
