not really a bird watching note but here goes.

we are roofing a shed and had to take a nest down.

It was a phoebee nest with four almost white eggs and a COWBIRD egg,

Did we do the poor birdie a favor? Will she find another site and re-build
I wonder? Without a cowbird?
