Not to change the topic, but a trip thru Montezuma auto route yielded a lot fewer ducks than in past weeks. Still a good variety, Mallards, Gadwall, N Shoveler, GW Teal, Ruddy, Ring-necked, Scaup, Redhead, A. Wigeon, N Pintail, Pied-billed Grebe and A. Coots. Many Canada Geese still there, I didn’t stop on East Rd but 50+ Sandhill Crane were seen Friday morning at Knox-Marsellus.
