As I crept up to the fence in a neighbors back yard to photograph the Snow Geese in the field on Simms Hill Rd. here in Dryden I spooked a couple of Canadian Geese next to the fence. They spooked the entire flock, which I would estimate at around 500 mixed Canadas and Snows. They flew West, not returning. Since I can see the fields from my living room I will keep track and post if they return.
