Well, just in the nick of time for CBC Count Week, I saw a flock of around 20 Snow Buntings just west of the observatory on Mt Pleasant Rd (south side of the road) as I drove by there around 3:55 pm today. Lots of white on the wings was distinctive. Earlier there was a large flock of Horned Larks close to the road at the eastern end of Mt Pleasant Rd, as well as the regular flock of juncos in the dip between hills where the farm is.
