Our woodcock has returned! I stepped outside (Sunder Hill area) at 6:30 this evening to hear just one sequence of “sky dance”. No “peents” before or after. I assume that the guy arrived last night and is just beginning to settle in. In past years we have had up to seven woodcocks on and around the property. I’m hoping that the next few nights will bring more of his friends and then a few females!
