My group also got good looks at three Purple Finch in the dirt parking area at Dryden Lake. Having missed the Long-tailed Ducks with my group, I returned to Dryden Lake after SFO broke up for the day. In addition to finding the Long-tailed on the lake, I also encountered a Fox Sparrow and a group of Chipping Sparrows along West Lake Rd just north of the entrance to the park.
